UAE signs massive Rafale order, also 12 H225M ordered

The UAE signed a contract for 80 Rafale F4. Total value of the contract is some €16 billion.
A second contract was signed for 12 H225M Caracal

Huge order!

Replacement for the 60 Mirage 2000-9s?

Are there also still talks about 50 F-35s?

The Rafales are supposed to replace the Mirages, very curious to see where those will end up.

F-35 deal still needs to be approved by US Congress, which is hesitant because of UAE ties with China.
