Delta’s first A321neo made its debut on Friday after exiting Airbus’ manufacturing facility in Hamburg, Germany.

The new aircraft’s rollout for the U.S. airline was captured by local planespotters.

According to the carrier, delivery of the new jet is expected in the first half of 2022 with deliveries continuing to 2027. The A321neo fleet is expected to initially operate out of Delta’s Boston focus city, largely replacing the aging 757.
