Incredible Mass Formation Launch of the Volkel Vipers; 312 Squadron, Orange Jumper

Post by Redskin301 »

In this video a mass launch is seen at Volkel Air Base. A total of 14 F-16s of the RNLAF are taking off in one big wave. This was in the early days normal, nowadays it is a rare sight as the number of operational F-16s is dropping drastically. The last aircraft taking off is the Orange Jumper (J-066) which is an F-16 of the RNLAF Flight Test Group. The unit moved recently from Leeuwarden to Volkel. The plane has an extra long pitot tube on the nose section and it wears a bright orange badge on it tale. Enjoy the sound of these machines now it is still possible!!!
