Emergency landing for an F-16 at the US base in Aviano
March 2, 2022

AVIANO. At approximately 1.40pm on Wednesday 2 March 2022, an F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 31st Fighter Wing made a safe emergency landing at the Aviano base.

“The emergency response teams of the base – it was clarified – intervened by securing the area. All other airport operations resumed smoothly ”immediately afterwards.
