The mayor of Kiev (Natalia Balasyanovich) report now about the 40th Ukrainan Brigade actions during night. She talk much about the brigade as it is based in Vasylkiv area and according the mayor, repelled the Russian air landings during night. It must be a terrible night for the soldiers, (especially the Russian soldiers) and the civilians in area with many losses (own conclusions). Russia used cruise missiles from Black Sea ships over Vasilkiv are to "support" the air landnings.
There are no talk about a second Il-76 loss, but more aircraft and helicopters downing. Let us wait and sort out the information to avoid missinformation. But remember 2014 and the downing of the Ukrainan loss of a Il-76 with many paras onboard. Especially the discussions after the downing and the missinformation. There is now talk about this downing again and it could be a blending of information.

According the sources use Russia soldiers clothed in Ukrainan police uniforms and Ukrainan police cars in very large scale in Kiev. Such as Germany used during the Ardenner offensive in Wold War II. Sorry. I have to mention it.

I saw it directly after I posted the information tonight.
But Natalia Balasyanovich stands for mayor. Could it be an official person of Vasylkiv area there the air landings was? i also mentioned my source. I try always to mention my source.
It is right to question all information, because there is a lot of missunderstanding and even direct misleaing information. Therefore a try to use so much official information as possible, togehter with my knowledge and understanding.
She talked as a official person for the 40 th Infantry Brigade, the Ukrainan defendor of the place for the air landings.

I search the whole time of information, but i think this way as you.

The Russian side is very quit. They are only talking about the Ukrainan aircraft. There is also some reason to not say to much. There is many looking at your and mine information. But if I find information I let you know.

According Ukrainan defence ministry have Russia lost from the beginning of the invasion until today 27th Feb 2022 18:00:

27 combat aircraft (to be specified)
26 helicopters

150 tanks
over 700 APC/IFV
near 4500 soldiers

hundreds of shattered Russian vehicles/tanks/APC/IFV along the Ukrainan roads

There is 4500 dead Russian soldiers on Ukrainan soil. The Ukrainan governmennt has tried to make a proper last solution for all of this soldiers. But the Russian government can not understand the problem.
It must also be a large amount of wounded Russian soldiers. 20000? How is the situation for all this soldiers?
Even the Ukrainen Forces must also have losses in the grade of the Russian losses.
The Odessa hospital take on over 100 soldiers each day.

This is fake news! No combat aircraft are provided, only Combat Air Patrol over Poland and Romania.
EU nations are providing aid and selfdefence munition to Ukraine, as requested by the Ukrainian PM.

Also a kind reminder this is an aviation-related topic; we all can see the footage on social media of the ruins and wreckages. No need to actuate these facts of casualties here. Leave that to CNN and related media.

Not fake news. Might not happen in the end, but apparantly a supply of MiG-29s is in the making. Several NATO countries are flying these and can be delivered soon. Some are saying 'in an hour', but that's obviously a bit too optimistic.

During Sunday evening the 27 February 2022 a 50 km long convoy with armor against Kiev.
