I was wondering wether D-485 has already been noted flying, or is it in use as some kind of ground training tool at Woensdrecht? It was delivered on Oct.9th 2021 already together with D-483 at Woensdrecht. D-483 was however already delivered to 298 sqn on Dec.16th that same year.

It made its first testflight today after assembly at Woensdrecht.
I believe D-485 did a 10min local (test)flight last week at EHGR.
Today, it had its first operational flight and went to the GLV5. I saw it returning at EHGR around 1550hrs. ADSB showed GRZLY43 Hex 480446.
On Monday the 2nd of May, while visiting GLV5, I was rewarded with D-485’s first operational flight. This flight took at least a full 45 minutes and I was lucky to take some nice pictures. D-483 was participating as well. Both crews did an amazing job with some nice flybys.

Are you refering to the afternoon flight?. I was there in the morning when the D-485 made its first sand landings. Here (nearly) everybody had hi-vis vests and everybody kept a safe distance.
Ever since the first operational flight of D-485 I am waiting for this Chinook to visit Beekhuizerzand but so far without succes. More specific, I have not seen it in the air since that flight, anyone with more information and allowed to share this?
