Avord (LFOA/BA 702) spotting

Post by Ksavspotter »

Hi everyone. I will most likely be stopping at Avord Air Base on my trip to Europe next month (Portugal, France, and Switzerland). Are there any decent spots and how often/when do the E-3s tend to fly? As of now, I'm scheduled to go on a weekday to maximize my chances of snagging something. Any and all info is appreciated. Thank you in advance :D

plus see my recent log from 3 March 2022 and I recommend to stay of any sight from the base and they are not used to spotters there.

Thank y'all so much! I'll be sure to try and stay out of sight when I'm there. Had to do something similar in Korea for Phantoms lol.

Don’t forget to check out the nearby aviation “museum”, that has some nice French aircraft on display.
