Unknown partisans near Vladivostok burned Su-27
at the Tsentralnaya Uglovaya airbase in the city of Artyom ,
where the 22nd Aviation Regiment of Russian Aerospace Forces is based
Remarkable, because the 22nd is equipped with two squadrons of MiG-31s and one squadron of Su-30SM2s. The old ''27'' are gone from that base. The nearest base with a few original Su-27s is the 23rd IAP at Komsomolsk-na Amure/Dzemgi.
It seems the aircraft is parked on grass /unpaved surface. Not wise in a climate were it freezes and thaws. Other sources claim that the contours of a round roundel are visible, but I have my doubts about that (wrong place for a roundel).
Also, according to Windy.com it is minus 6 degrees celsius with more than 20 cm of snow for the last week at least. I don't see any snow around the plane.
It would not surprise me when it is an old, not flyable, Su-27 of Ukraine, which was set on fire for propaganda purposes, a practise which also is done with helicopters and vehicles.
There is around 7 Flankers at Uglovaya air base today, as 16 Flankers most Su-35 at Dzemgi. (all spotted). No Su-30SM2.
Not all active.
Uglovaya had around 12 Su-35 before the Ukrainan war. (all spotted).
The base also had Su-20M2 (4) and some Su-30SM (4). A rest of the Su-27SM also visible. (all spotted).
Some Flankers left Dzemgi and Uglovaya for Baranovichi air base (Byelorussia) some days before the Ukrainan war. Later visible at Buturlinovka air base. Later spred out at different bases.
Some small part Su-30SM at Domna air base spred out at different bases east of Ural as Quick Reaction Alert. Most Su-30SM at Domna in Europe.
One Flanker at Uglovaya as display (Su-27SM?). Maybee the aircraft on the "grass field".
Two squadrons of MiG-31 on Uglovaya air base 5 active and 21 as "reserve"?.
4 MiG-31 at Dzemgi as QRA, as all of the Flankers on base maybee not are flyable?
