Foligno LIAF

Post by Starman »

Apart from a bellisimo F-104 the OMA company also appear to overhaul AMI piston types, and  just as per Google maps, in their yard is an SF260 (70-21, or was it 31, sorry too much Grenache rose) and an engineless S208M in full 100 years markings with a famous aviator on the tail, but at the wrong height to read the MM number. Anyone been here?

Hi Starman

we stopped here Friday 16th June

in the yard
the SF-260 was 70-31
the S-208 60- Unfortunaly a cover blocked the next part of code

by the hangar was another SF-260 70-3x blocked by vehicle
it had a black tail

cheers

Yes indeed for 70-31, and no, the S.208 listed in Eurodemobbed was probably an example on overhaul 8 years ago, & not a preserved a/c.
