SIS Summary

Post by Thijs »

I see the SIS summary is updated a couple of times per week; which is highly appreciated and a great accomplishment in this "fast changing" world :respect:

But I'm wondering why the information provided in the topic about Frisian Flag ( https://www.scramble.nl/community/messa ... 7?start=15 ) isn't reflected in the SIS Summary; is there any reason behind it? Can "we" (the community) help in any way? Is my assumption: when the community provides info via the forum it will be read by the editor and processed wrong? Frisian Flag is in this case an obvious example but there might be more (long term) information which isn't reflected in the SIS Summary.

In my opinion the strength of the SIS summary is to give a clear overview and provide all the relevant (long term) information in one view without scrolling through numerous forums/ posts with "wishes, opinions, personal views, rumours etc etc".

Curious to know how we could elevate the SIS Summary to a higher level as a community together with Scramble.

Thijs, thanks for opening this topic.
I update the SIS as much as possible.
The input we receive is very minimal, about one mail a month.... So everyone, sent all the info you have, I spent a lot of time searching the www, but miss a lot. And as usual better twice then not.
As for Frisian Flag, adding one sentence in the SIS is simple, adding the link, plus all the participants is complicated. Those updates are usually done once a month on the start of the month, which is tomorrow :) .
Hope this helps, and I am eagerly waiting for all the inputs.
Regards Pieter,
