Hi again!

While visiting the LA-area, I did carve out a few good hours of spotting at LAX. Last time I was there was March 2022, still in the aftermath of the pandemic. Since then, traffic has returned to normal levels and I scored 170 new frames on this sunny Sunday!

There were no real special aircraft but still a nice visit. Here's an impression of a day of spotting at LAX. I spotted from the Imperial Hill and later from the parking lot at the Proud Bird restaurant.

1. AeroMexico flies to LAX with the B737-800, B737-8, ERJ190 and B787. Here's B737-800 N845AM:

2. Alaska Airlines is in the process of retiring its final Airbus A321neos. N923VA was retired a few days after this shot:

3. LAX is a busy cargo-hub, with movements from carriers like Polar Air Cargo with this B747-8F N857GT:

4. Gotta love this special livery on B757-200 N14102 of United:

5. This B777F N775SA has now has its Southern Air-titles removed and replaced them with small Polar Air Cargo titles near the cockpit but is still operated for DHL:

6. Allegiant is a nice break from the usual US carriers. Seen here is A319 N323NV:

7. Philippines B777-300ER RP-C7776 is taxiing in after its flight from Manila:

8. This Sun Country B737-800 N839SY is mainly used for sports charters and is missing titles:

9. Spirit has recently became an A321neo-operator and seen here is N702NK:

10. First time seeing Breeze Airways but this shot of A220-300 N217BZ is ruined by the heatwaves:

11. One of the best looking Dreamliners are the ones of Tahiti Nui like this F-OTOA:

12. ABX Air B767-200F N767AX departing:

13. Compared to March 2022, there are much more international airlines back at LAX, like SAS with this A350-900 SE-RSF:

14. Nice Boston Celtic livery on JetBlue A320 N595JB:

15. Volaris is another regular Mexican carrier, flying with A320(N)s and A321s. Here's N547VL:

16. JSX ERJ135 N259JX seen here on its way to Las Vegas:

17. And you have to admit, the ITA Airways A350s are also quite stunning as EI-IFE shows:

18. Okay, there was one special visitor in the form of this UAE B747-400 A6-HRM:

19. Arriving and departing within a few minutes apart are the A380s from Korean Air and Asiana like this HL7620:

20. My first encounter with the new livery of JetBlue was this A321 N982JB:

21. And ending my set with B787-9 G-CKWN of Norse Atlantic UK:
