The title is a bit confusing, the name of the airline is: Southwind Airlines

Apparently now banned in the entire EU according to Luchtvaartnieuws.
Is this the first airline outside of Russia/Belarus to be sanctioned due to the war in Ukraine (besides CargoLogicAir)?

Agreed, and adapted. And indeed banned in the EU now, see here as well.

It was clear from the beginning that Southwind is a remake of Nordwind. Just look at the names and logos (the newer one of Nordwind, not the old star) and obviously the main business: Russian holiday makers to the Turkish Riviera. Part of the fleet was taken over as well.
