Abbreviations, info, parkingspots and runway info

Post by gatso76 »

On request.
Normally these are the ones you find in most of the messages(at least in the Amsterdam-Schiphol part):

STA: Scheduled Time Arrival (like the times mentioned in the timetable)
STD: Scheduled Time Departure (like the times mentioned in the timetable)
ETA: Estimated Time Arrival (this time is more close to the real arrival time, better then STA)
ETD: Estimated Time Departure (normally they change the STD into ETD when the aircraft arrives late or due to TEC reasons)
ATA: Actuall Time Arrival
ATD: Actuall Time Departure
TEC: Technical Reasons
CRR: Crew Reasons
ATC: Air Traffic Control
a/w: all white
n/t: no titles
arr: arrive/arrived
DIV: Diverted
DLT: Delayed
san or canx: Cancelled
DLI: Indefinite Delayed
c/s: call-sign
rw: runway

or the airport of arrival and departures ICAO/IATA codes please check:
http://www.scramble.nl/icao.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

for the airline codes please check:
http://www.airlinecodes.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

this is just a beginning, pls feel free to add more or ask if something is not clear

Marco

(thanks Michael, Erik)

I pprinted out a runway layout last week of Schiphol, but would like to know if there is one for most major airports in the world.

TIA for any help.

As far as i know, there's no such thing on the (public) web.

What i do, when looking for maps, is a search on Google.com

That might take some time, but will give some results.

Another option, is to download and install Google Earth. Run the program and print satelite images.

Bye, Chris.

J-ramp info

Post by cHabu »

Hiya,
