Chartres-Champhol (LFOR) MIL 2024

A brief stop here on the early evening revealed;

NH90TTH 5 RHC: EAO, ECB (spec. tail), ECE, ECJ
EC665HAD 5 RHC: BHS, BJE (spec. tail), BJJ, BJX
AS532UL 5 RHC: CGW
AS555UN 2 RHC/EALAT: AYE, AYJ, AYM
EC120B 6RHC/HeliDax: F-HBKG, F-HBKR, F-HBKT
PC-6B2/H4 ETCM: 887/MCA, 891/MCE

Also a yellow Piper Cub was noted, but not read. Any mil history on this one?

No Fennecs? At the webcam of the airport there’s one camouflaged Fennec visible, parked next to a noble command post.

Sjoerd, 6 RHC does not exist anymore.
AS.555UNs are from EALAT and EC.120Bs from Helidax.

Thanks for your input Adrian! I took them from the Scramble database/orbat but they are also listed as such on the official programm published by the French MoD. So you are certain that Helidax is no longer under 6 RHC? And the AS.555UN should be under 2 RHC/EALAT indeed.

Sjoerd, your yellow Piper was F-PASD, which flew early evening from Chartres. I am afraid it has no military history though, looks like a homebuilt example.

6RHC is based at Dax as part of EALAT and flying with EC120s provided by Helidax.
