During the OMG 2024 event, the 101 Airborne Division "Screaming Eagles", in collaboration with 298sqn Chinooks, will give a demonstration of an airborne / military attack on Tuesday, September 17. US Black Hawk will be used. These Black Hawks probably come from Germany?

The 101 Airborne Division band will also give a performance. Officially stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. They probably come via Eindhoven Air Base. That both will occur has been confirmed by the OMG 2024 organization and the Municipality of De Meijerij. How and where they land/arrive is still unclear. If I find out more I will let you know.

Interestingly, and as a sidenote, the police discovered a cannabis plantation as a result of the demonstration. One of the parachutists involved missed his landing zone and ended up in a cornfield. When the police used a drone to locate him, they not only found the uninjured para but also the illegal plantation..
