More Airbus A330s and new cabin for Brussels Airlines
The long-haul fleet of the Belgian Lufthansa subsidiary will grow from 10 to 13 Airbus A330s for the African expansion.
Brussels Airlines is also giving the aircraft a new cabin.
But the announced growth of another long-haul jet is not enough for Brussels, as it now turns out.
The one in 2025 will be followed by two more.
The company will grow by a total of three A330s and thus "expand the wide-body fleet to 13 aircraft in the coming years,"

that the aim was to include the Star Alliance partners United Airlines and Air Canada in the hub plans for Africa.
"It would be a big risk for Brussels Airlines to grow by more than one long-haul aircraft per year," said the airline boss at the time.
This suggests that the three additional A330s could now also arrive at the rate of one aircraft per year.
