When we arrived at 1430, the wave with the Hawks of RAVN and some F-16s just returned to base.

The RA T-38C arrived shortly after, bringing the pilot to return the special tail T-38 back to Randolph AFB.

A few additions from a quick stop on October 10th:

92-3293 carried 145th AW North Carolina ANG markings, 96-0008 was from the 97th AMW. Also there were an unidentified RAF C-17 and C-17A c/n IND1 which should be CB8001.

According the podcast The Merge, these B-52s are here for installation of the new radar onto the B-52.
The AESA radar will be a modified APG-79 Bomber Modernized Radar System.
