Fly AllWays expands fleet with first Airbus A320
December 15, 2024

Surinamese airline Fly AllWays has reached a milestone with the arrival of its very first Airbus A320.

The aircraft, which previously flew for Alaska Air and was fully maintained in the United States,
landed on Saturday evening at the Johan Adolf Pengel Airport in Suriname (Zanderij).

The Airbus A320 , with a capacity of 150 seats divided between business and economy class,
will undergo a thorough certification process in the coming months.

This process, carried out in collaboration with aviation authority Casas and Airbus,
is expected to take two to three months.

Once the formalities are completed, the aircraft will be deployed for regional flights.

With this new acquisition, Fly All Ways is focusing on growth and innovation.

The company plans to gradually phase out its older Fokker aircraft
and prepare for the increasing demand for air transport,
partly due to developments in the oil and gas industry in Suriname.

In addition, new routes and destinations are being mapped out to further expand the network.
