'FAF 6410' on Eindhoven Arrival this time, for 1 approach, thereafter to EBBL. So maybe Eindhoven instead of Volkel?

Both went to Eindhoven instead of Volkel, thereafter, as planned to Kleine Brogel for some more approaches. Serials: E49/314-LB and E166-314-LT (credits for the serials: Eddy Magielse aka "Pippichantal").

Note: it's the same ones that visited Woensdrecht yesterday.

Stephan

They are deployed here at Beauvechain since last Friday, so you'll be seeing more of them this week. If I'm not mistaken they're flying to the UK tomorrow.

Euhm... those landing times should be the other way around. The 6410 landed first, 6411 came later.

The third A-Jet which was foreseen for the deployment will arrive this evening (ETA 1520Z) as FAF6412.

Just curious is the crew French or Belgium? Because the Belgium and French airforce has an agreement for using each others training facilities. Belgium crews also uses the Xingu for training before going to the Hercules.

Or has this nothing to do with the agreement and is it just a navigational trip

It has everything to do with it

Goal of this deployment is the familiarisation of three Belgian students who have had their full training in France, with the Belgian and surrounding airspace.

The jets are French, but the pilots are Belgian.

The three Alpha Jets are heading for the UK today.

First one is foreseen to depart at 0820Z, the others each time 20' later. Stop for today is EGXC Conningsby with an approach at EGUW Wattisham.

RTB to EBBE Beauvechain this afternoon, as usual.

We're also expecting a French Xingu at 1400Z for a night stop.

Two of the little French training birds currently deployed at EBBE were observed and photographed by members of the Spotting Group Koksijde at their home base on April 16th.

May I ask how long the deployment will take?
Will they be at Beauvechain next week too?

thanx in advance, Corné

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.
