we've a fuelstop here today, additional to our daily normal flight;

Amsterdam is a bizzare place to make a fuel stop when routing STN-ANC. According to the Great Circle Mapper AMS-ANC is 19 miles further than STN-ANC!! The routing is almost the same, so wouldn't have thought en route headwinds would be that different.
