Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

If it helps to identify: ZH880 was fitted with a refuelling probe, ZH882 was not. ZH880 was 'Jackdaw 1' and ZH882 was 'Jackdaw 2', in that sequence they got airborn from Soesterberg.

Regards,

Stephan

In order of appearance

2x RAF
2x RAF
2x RAF

The 2nd RAF one flew slightly higher and was a few seconds behind the lead herky...3 passes each.

1x klu
1x klu
1x klu missed dropzone
1x klu

Flew higher then the RAF ones and was in and out the clouds. Missed the dropzone on the third run.

1x dakota

Last airplane was a dakota in US colours.

Question mark

Post by Ergo01 »

Just to fill in a question mark. The fourth person form the left is Fred (Willemsen). I would say the atmosphere was comparable to what Fred and I experienced some ..... (almost) 40 years ago.
Time stood still (we hope).
Oh and btw we checked this afternoon and RAF Herks were still there. Will probably leave tomorrrow.
