In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Lately it is getting much better again.
I prefer the military side of aviation, and I must say that you see quite a lot of that at Calgary.

To TinTin, my favourite is also the C-17, or CC-177 as they like to call it here.

Very nice photos of the C-17!!

What a huge airfield Calgary is! Looking at it on Google Earth also reveals a lot of military activity, at least at the time the sattelite took its pictures. In the southwest corner three MH-53's, a CT-142, a Hawk, two Griffons (by the looks of it), and two white-roofed unidentified choppers. Nice!

Hi Stephan,

I think that pic was taken when Calgary hosted the G8 a couple of years ago.
They even had AF1 at the airport.
