Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

I't wasn't till 3 o'clock in the afternoon that the low clouds lifted from Schiphol.
After that we got some sunshine on the taxiway from the polderbaan.
The only thing somewhat special passing by was this OE-LVG.

A small but select group was waiting for the announced Cargo B jumbo along the taxiway from 18R. When this new airline for Schiphol first announced itself on the radio
shortly before 16.00, airtraffic control was surprised and the pilot had to repeat the Cargo B call sign (especially the Cargo B bit) before they were directed to runway 18R.
Somewhere in the radio conversation the pilots and air traffic control must have gotten to know each other better which resulted in a late change to runway 18C.
This was then followed by a mad dash by the select group of photographers, during this dash a number of trafic rules were grossly disregarded but it at least resulted in this shot:

I have to admit to cloning away the fence that was in the bottom half of the original shot.

For people like me, workin' with ATC and a bit of inside info... :police: it's still hard to be at the right spot...
So me, my collegue & partner in crime Mzunguwamap drove to a save spot to nail the Cargo B Classic Seven 4 Seven... "Q" The place to be and if you lucky, with blue skies and clear water...
...You get 2 in one shot of your favorite A/C...
Here we go, enjoy...
