In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

and to all good things comes an end. This day we were leaving Israel, but not before we had visited the fire station.

The first inbound traffic was, for me, the most special plane of the entire trip. Most special as the IDF planes were expected, but this bird absolutely not. Although we were warned in advance of an earlier visit of 2 C-2's (missed by the other group), we were lucky to catch her when we were on the airfield.

Hi Marco,

Again excellent shots!
At Lod you can see unexpected planes. I was there in 1996. When were are taxiing out in darkness, we saw a F-14B from Jolly Rogers(black tails) parked between the KC707s which was on visit from the USS Enterprise-cruising in the Med. between Israel and Cyprus. Unfortunately a few days earlier we missed this one in Haifa... At the small Haifa airport we saw also a C-2 Greyhound in take off. This was from a distance so no pic/serial(digital camera's were in development at that time)....
