Goodmeurnin',
On saturday the 14th we expected three charters returning military personnel from an excercise in Norway.
01 The first one came in around 17h, landing on runway 23. This is B737-548 of Lithuanian A/L. Unfortunately we had a lot of disturbing heatwaves...
02 On departure they requested runway 05, so the aircraft taxied via runway 19 and that was right in front of us:
03 Beech B200 Super King Air D-IVIP of VHM sat on the apron since yesterday, but departed to Nice (if I heard it right) on runway 23:
04 Coming back from a flight to Midden-Zeeland (EHMZ) this Cirrus SR20GTS G3 landed on runway 01:
05 One of the many overflights at Eelde (EHGG) was B-2430, an B747-412(BCF) of Great Wall A/L, very likely inbound EHAM:
06 While waiting for the other two charterflights we were entertained by this landing of local C172N PH-THS, normally doing sightseeing flights:
07 Charter number 2, a DC-9-83 of Flightline during landing on the "23":
08 Unfortunately this one was allowed to backtrack via "05", so we didn't get it up close:
09 Charter number 3 was OO-VAS, a B737-86Q(w) of JetairFly. This landing too made the tyre companies very happy!
10 Because it was after 8 o'clock the crows were already gathering... and it shows!
You may count them, but in reality we had at least five times that much as seen in this picture...:
Via the scanner we heard three balloons checking in with Eelde tower for permission to cross the CTR. We also saw one over Assen and I followed that one. On landing near Gieterveen it turned out to be another one, which we hadn't heard on the radio. This one hadn't entered the CTR, because it had started at Assen.
11 This brandnew balloon is Ultra Magic N-210 PH-EPS. Sorry for the quality, I had hoped the picture would have turned out a bit sharper. That's what you get when making pictures on 100iso around 21:30...
12 And finally the best visitor of the 13th of june. An-26B LY-APK of Aviavilsa of Vilnius, Lithuania:
13 Pictured with 1/60 and F11:
14 Taxiing on runway 01 at Eelde:
15 Close-up, so you can see the water rising to halfway the (former) observation window. Carrying an indoor pool, maybe?
On fridaymorning we also had Polish ATR42 SP-KCN en saturdaymorning Swedish Beech-1900D SE-LCX, but I missed both. Hopefully no problem, because both are expected for sundayafternoon/evening...
Greetingsenzo,
Bert.
