Spotting @ Reims and Cambrai

Post by TIGER 1 »

Hallo all,

I go for a holliday to France and Belgium next week.
Does someone knows what the spotting conditions are at Reims and Cambrai?
Is it permitted to make pictures in the landing and taxi way, and where are the best places?
And what does the local police over there when you are standing with a camera?

I hope someone can tell me...........

Both Cambrai and Reims have good spotting conditions, look on this site for the best info!
Gendarmerie of both bases come to pay you a visit: look at your passport and car papers, and ask if you are taking pictures..... I have been on both bases the last years and alos for two weeks, and i never had troubles over there....actually, i talked with them about there collegae's at Nancy  .....! and football ofcourse!
My advice: Act normal, stay polite, they are only doing their job and i think you wont have problems with them!
Good hunting!

thanks for the info:
a little bit off topic: is spotting at St. Dizier, Dijon and Colmar quite the same as Cambrai regarding police? Will be in the area in two weeks ...
