Bertrix became active again, now as a home to a fleet of gliders and Piper Cubs of the Air Cadets, since Zoersel-Oostmalle closed down.
Just take the highway exit for Bertrix when driving on the highway from Namur to Arlon/Luxembourg. When entering the village, you turn right at the first roundabout (heading to the signposted military camp). You pass the logistic military camp on your right hand and continue in the same direction. At the next crossing you can either turn right (which will take you up the "main"
gate) or continue straight on (which will take you to a secondary(?) "crash"gate. Forest- and farmland tracks will take you near(er) the fence. Abit of a walk could help to reach the fence itself.
