16 July
80-1089 BB red U-2S 22RS,9 RW Dragon 51 arr around midday(from KBAB/Beale AFB?),dep 17 July/09.14Z to LCRA(RAF Akrotiti)
One of the final airshow departures today was,
995 C-130H FACh,Grupo 10 FACh 995 dep at 07.25Z.
2 B-1Bs remain on the ground here.
It is expected there will be a west-bound U-2S transiting here in the next few days.

Both these Hercs visited due to an AMX being here still unserviceable from the show.

Hi,
2 Kansas KC-135s are now on approach. They are here for support for 2 B-2s that will arrive tomorrow.
Wylie81/82 are the calls of the KC-135s.

The provisional schedule for these is a mission on the 13rd,then departure home on the 15th.Serials as soom as I have them.
The KC-135Rs are reported as,
58-0122 (l/n as 168 ARS,AK ANG)
60-0365 (184 ARS,KS ANG)
Both were due to be from Kansas ANG.

They have finally filed half way. ETA Reaper11/12 22.00z for Fairford.
Please be advised that the exercise lasts till 15th.
It has nowere been said that they will leave on the 13th....

The ground crews are awaiting spares to fix 82-1067 after a heavy landing and contingent to these spares arriving at Fairford,these airplanes will depart at 15.00 local time on Sunday 17 August.
The 2 KC-135R listed above are still present and will not be departing until the B-2s depart.

89-0128 WM Spirit of Nebraska 13 BS,509 BW Reaper 11 dep at 13.58Z.
One of the KC-135Rs here also departed,
60-0365 KC-135R 127 ARS,KS ANG Wylie 81 dep at 14.58Z.This was a local mission and returned here later.
The second KC-135R here,58-0122,has gone unserviceable.
2 B-52H are due here on the 19th August for approx 5 days.

Reportedly there are 8 Swedish AF JAS-39 due into Fairford today around mid-morning for Exercise Neptune Warrior.Unit break-down should be 4 jets from F17 and the other 4 from F21.
Also due here are 12 Sqn Tornado GR.4 from Lossiemouth.
