As you are looking for (possible) answers, herewith my input.
1. Some clarification is needed. As your friend stated the cargo was heading east. If the cargo left a German port, a easterly heading will never bring them to either NL or BE.
So the port of debarkation plays a major role.
2. If such a shipment takes place, the most likely will be that the port of Rotterdam is involved. The US armed Forces have a special detachment in the vicinity of Rotterdam, which takes care of all military transportation in Europe. In that case a vessel of the MSC (Military Sealift Command)will berth in Rotterdam (ECT terminal) to load the cargo.
That rises another for spotter important question: Where do the Hueys come from and what are the regis?

BTW: for me there's no need to answer in English. I understand Dutch.

On the first a july 11 Blackhawks transited north through Salzburg returning from a deployment to Kosovo. They are from the MS and TN ArNG. It is very possible that those choppers are the ones on the barge.

Heading East in the direction of Rotterdam or Antwerp? Heading West in this case... ??

This is a very wild assumption as during the last couple of years many of these transports have transited through the port of Antwerp.

On the first a july 11 Blackhawks transited north through Salzburg returning from a deployment to Kosovo. They are from the MS and TN ArNG. It is very possible that those choppers are the ones on the barge.

On June 30th they fuel stopped at Aviano too, any serials of them?

Their replacement passed on their way southbound on June 18th again stopping at Aviano , last three noted as: 669, 292, 720, 622, 145 "Duke 27",
568, 329, 609, 722, 053, 980 "Duke 03".

83-23894 MH-60A (UH-60A according to scramble database)
82-23722 UH-60A
81-23574 UH-60A
83-23839 UH-60A MS NG
86-24520 UH-60A
86-24509 MH-60A (UH-60A according to Scramble database)
85-24388 UH-60A (UH-60Q according to Scramble database)

82-24715 UH-60A (can not find this one in database)

All data is from the datablock on the aircraft. Only 3 helicopters had NG markings.

Track and trace labels mentioned only the type UH-60A or UH-60L.

Not to deny you the opportunity to spot them but to avoid breaking the regulations in this case I keep it by port of Rotterdam.

Thanks for posting the log but I have been searching all publicly accessible places of the Rotterdam Harbour (except the harbours in the city) and was not able to locate the vessel with the helicopters. Very frustrating because the harbourmasters also do not have information about this ship because it came from Hamburg.

A little bit more information would be very welcome.

Hi I already had a feeling it had something to do with that. And if it could cost your job don't even think about it. I understand.

I know that it used to be at Steinweg, atleast I know tank and hummers went that way a few years ago. But the Waalhaven is very big.

82-24715 UH-60A (can not find this one in database)

This one was 82-23715. The other serials are correct (so 2 UH-60Qs, 1 HH-60L and 8 UH-60As).
