The Kefalonian Dromaders

Post by herky »

Hi, just got back from the beautiful Greek island Kefalonia.
On arrival a Dromader taxied along our B.737, but it was not allowed to take pictures on the platform  .
Later on the week I went to the landing area of the airport (great spot) and catch (200mm) the daily flying two M18 Dromaders 8) .

Do you know how they tank water after they dumped it?
I know they go back to EFL.

Hi,

they are landing and take again water from a watertruck.

By the way, do you two have any log with military movements or business jets from your holidays in Kephallonia?

Greetings
Marcus

I haven't seen any military aircraft except for the Dromaders.

Civilo's were:

SX-BVP DHC-6 Airsealines.com
I-DFSL Lj45
HB-JEV G1159 V
PH-HZA B737-800 Transavia

and two Cessna's and a NOTAR.

We had an apartment half an hour driving from the airport so maybe there was but I haven't seen it.
The day I was on the beach along the runway there was less traffic.
