midnight activity

Just one hour ago (round 1.00 AM LT) i heard a/a comms from what i believe were Germans. A few minutes later i heard a Dutch guy speak and he said: Back to Colby Ops. Is there something going on at Volkel this night?

A bit strange aspecially the fact that Volkel and Leeuwarden are closed today according to the Notams..

Anyone some info?

I think the f16's from belgium where flying very late last evening.

The only one switching to Colby at that time is Lifeliner 3.

Could be the Belgiums i wasn't able to identify them because i was in an another room at the time. One thing is for sure: they were extremely late...

I presume the Lifeliners call in at Colby just like the choppers at Soesterberg calling Omega Ops when they arrive late and there's no local ATC available?
