Whereabouts of BAF F-84 downtown Antwerp?

Post by Polleke_NL »

Yesterday, on way to the TLP, we ended up in a traffic jam on the ringroad of Antwerp and to kill time we decided to look for the BAF F-84 that according to the EMOOS and Google Earth should be preserved downtown Antwerp, next to a few buildings of which one burned down last Februari.
It turns out that the F-84 - undamaged - was removed when the remains of the buildings were torn down. Can anyone confirm which F-84 this was and what this aircraft's current location is ??

The FU36 is curently in the storage facility at Vissenaken, but it will move soon (some sources say this month) to Poland.

Best regards,

As apparently no one is to enter the Vissenaken facility due to Asbest remains, assume it won't be in Poland in time for the commeroration for which it indeed is supposed to be in Poland by October. Does anyone know more about this??
