REQ: Spotting round TALLIN - Estonia

Hello,

A very close friend of mine is going to Estonia in a week for his work.

He's also an aviation"freak" so he would like to fill his spare hours by trying to look for some spotterfacilities.

Could someone help him out with some information regarding this topic?

It would be more than helpfull, and appreciated ofcourse

Civ of Mil doesnt matter in this case!

Thanks in advance

Cheers Dr.T

Hi,

I was in Tallinn in May 2007. To go to the most well know spotting location, take a look to the map bellow. You can walk to the spotting place and theres's a sidewalk when you exit the terminal.

The spotting location is at a crash gate and TLL single runway is very close. Also, in front of that place there's the last taxiway to be used for aircraft taxiing to runway 26. So they will hold short in front of you and then taxi very slow. It's a great location for spotting. Inside the terminal there's a restaurant that overlooks the apron.

I like this small Baltic airport, and wouldn't mind to go there again. Also the city is very beutifull and woth a visit.

Hope this one has helped
