Or is the heliport closed now for ever in the area of Hertogenbosch?
Hello

There use to be a "park + Ride" beneath the HQ building of the province Noord-Brabant.
This P+R is closed. They build a new one at the old Heli-port site.

The new Heli-port was atmitted in the plan off detour the Zuid-Willemsvaart canal.
First it was planned first at the "Pettelaerpark". Second plan beside the A2 highway at the industrian zone "De Brand"
Both plans are refused because off noise pollution.
They are investigate if there is a possibility to place the Heli-port at the South-East at the the industrian zone "De Brand"

Found this in the newspaper article ....
"Rijkswaterstaat wil daar geen helihaven, omdat die mogelijk te veel afleiding zou geven voor het verkeer op de A2",
And what about the runways next to and taxiways above the motorways around Schiphol ..... :?: :?

Schiphol is already there and has been for a long time. Schiphol is not the point of discussion here. Why is that a bad reason to reject? Schiphol has distraction, ok I'll grant you that but we have to live with that as Schiphol is a major thing (on various grounds, transport, economics etc). But why is it strange to reject an airport that doesn't exist yet (or can be closed easily, without too many drawbacks) for that reason?

Hello

There used to be an Heli-port site at that location. It was often used. The KLu Cougars used it every year on Librety day.
Helinet used it for Business flights. They closed it because the parkinglot. Was the only place for landing Helicopter in"s-Hertogenbosch.

Maybe a platform will be realised on the new Hospital "Willem Alexander"?
