New books - Images wanted

Post by Hans »

All,

During the next months, Scramble will again publish two books. For both books we are still looking for good images!!
  1. The Scramble Air Field Guide; a new title in our range of spotters specific books. This 'take-along-with-you' book will be covering most major airports and airbases in Western Europe with maps and descriptions where to spot! For this book we are still looking for good quality images of most airfields covered, preferably taken 'outside' during the last couple of years - not just the special visitors, but also those 'ordinary locals'!
  2. Scramble Military Serials 2009 - Europe; Our annual overview of European air forces, this year with even more information included! For this book any recent images of European military aircraft will do, fighters, transports etc.
When you have any pictures you would like to share with us, please mail them to bookupload@scramble.nl, but at 6 May latest.

Please make sure to include as much information as possible, but at least your exact name, date and location the picture was taken and the registration of the aircraft - especially when not clear on the image. For those images which you would to have included in the Air Field Guide, please be as specific as possible on the exact location the picture was taken.

When you send your pictures, make sure you send the largest size possible, either in JPG or TIFF, but at least 1600 pixels wide. Preferably we get images which are NOT photoshopped - apart from being cropped and/or levelled; remember that what looks good on your computer screen is usually not good for printing in a magazine or book. More detailed instructions can be found at http://www.scramble.nl/mag.htm (click on "Index/Images" on the left menu bar).

Kind regards,

Hans Hoogers
