336th EFS left Seymour Johnson for Bagram

This morning, members of the 4th Fighter Wing's 336th Fighter Squadron and "more than a dozen" F-15E Strike Eagles left Seymour Johnson AFB for Bagram AB, Afghanistan. This OEF deployment is part of USAF's upcoming AEF 9/10 (Cycle 7) rotation (May - August 2009). The 336th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron will replace the 492nd EFS from RAF Lakenheath.
