Hi all,

Seen this morning was AS-532UL S-457 visiting Dijon. Out of my memory also E151/2-FD, E32/2-FI and the 70/102-AO flew amongst others.

Best regards,

Hi,

From the online airfieldguide at our website (available for subscribers!), and also mentioned in our Airfield Guides book:
The first spot to visit is the approach of runway 36. From here landing shots and reading the serials is quite OK. To get here you take the A39 towards Dijon and exit at exit no.3. From the A39 turn onto the N5 and turn right onto the D905 towards Neuilly-les-Dijon. In this small town turn left onto the Chemin de Rouvres. Following this road you will end up at the fence. Keep following the fence and pass the runway 36 approach. After you cross the channel you can park your car in Ouges and walk from there on. Cross the channel again and take the small dirt road that parallels the channel. You will find a spot there that suits your needs.
For Thursday, northerly winds are expected, so this would be the place to be.

Are you sure about Friday departure? Friday is a Muslim's Sunday so I would assume them to leave on Thursday, for the same reason they arrive on a Thursday too

Hu Ruud,

This is the information I received from the airbase. I see your point but there is only one way to find out...

No, Dijon has a 18/36 runway and a smaller 02/20 runway (see for instance http://maps.google.nl/)

18/36 and 02/20. The first is the main runway. On the other hand, I have never experienced them flying from the other runway!

Hello Arjan,

I was at Dijon in August and (unfortunately) an Emb-121 used the smaller runway (02/20) :? . So it can be used! By the way, I'm wondering how the 18-approach can be reached. Anyone for this? :?: The 36-approach is very nice, and easy to reach. Looking forward to some info on this one.
