Hi Kristof (and all),

I just read your message now...but luckily I happened to be in De Haan for holidays last thursday til monday and I decided to have a look at Ostend on saturday evening (23/5). To my surprise I indeed found a Czech Airbus there, although it was 'the other one', 3085 instead of 2801.

Besides that, I noted a grey Dauphin in the NHV hangar, presumably OO-NHC as it had a leaflet on a window with that reg. Do you know if this one is destined for loan to the Aeronavale? And do you know if it will receive a military serial?

DUE: Ostend today Thursday 2 July

Post by raameagle »

The first two T-6s for the IDF/AF are due into Ostend this afternoon and should nightstop. I guess they will be followed by the second pair tomorrow?

If they turn up, can somebody try to tie up their N reg/4?? IDF serial against a construction number please?

Regards

Mark

N80344 dep Wick 13.23Z eta Oostende 15.44Z
N8010R dep Wick 13.32Z eta Oostende 15.52Z

The second pair departed CYFB for BGSF earlier, and both should by now be safely on the ground there.

Just back from Oostende and the above tie ups are indeed correct. Both could easily be seen from outside. Thanks all for the head-up, really appreciated!!

Indeed, the first 2x T-6A should have departed this morning.
Next 2x T-6A (for Israel, incl. N80348 & N....) will arrive this evening (departure early tomorrow?)

Oostende airport report for Friday 03 July,

400/N80344 T-6A dep 07.36Z
414/N8010R T-6A dep 07.43Z

456/N80348 T-6A arr 17.44Z
470/N8011R T-6A arr 18.17Z

Ah well, that's the first 4 Israeli T-6As in the book.Just as well Koksijde show was on to occupy the rather large gap between the morning depertures and the slightly delayed arrivals.
