Good evening
A May trip to copter-heaven Switzerland resulted in logging numerous nice helicopters, which often could be captured with amazing natural scenery backgrounds. To keep this post sizeable, I shall resticted it to the
heliports only; a 2nd post will contain the "normal airfield" ones.........
Gsteigwiler, Sat 23-05-09
This BOHAG heliport just south of Interlaken is clearly signposted: entering the village take the first right (dead end streat signs), at the end upon a hill it can be found. Beautifull pictures can be made around here !

Lauterbrunnen, Sat 23-05-09
A few kilometres south of Gsteigwiler, this heliport can be found by simply following the main road towards Stechelberg. One km south of the village the heliport is at your right hand side. Gletschers-backgrounds provide amazing shots..........

Holziken, Sat 23-05-09
Without good preparation this heliport is almost imposible to find.........
It's situated along the Bändlistrasse, approximately 1,5 km south-west of the village.
In the village centre a small white sign "Bändli" leads you in the right direction.

Haltikon, Sun 24-05-09
Sometimes this heliport is also referred to as Küssnacht am Rigi (Heli Gotthardt).
Entering the small village from the south, at your left hand side an enormous
factory can seen; the heliplatform is directly opposite this, at the right hand side of the road.

Balzers, Sun 24-05-09
Being the only Liechtenstein heliport, and being home of two Kaman helicopters, this one was obviously on my wish list. Simply take at the highway exit Balzers, after crossing the Rhine (and the border) take immediately the first left (heliport signposted). Unfortunately everything was locked up, with some
effort one helicopter (lucky me: a Kaman) could be read.........

Benken, Sun 24-05-09
For the sake of completeness: although guided with a good description, this heliport wasn't found. To me it looked like the area where it should have been located
was in preparation for some building. I pressume this heliport is therefore closed,
especially as the based Robinson R22 (HB-XLN) was seen at nearby Wangen-Lachen
airfield with covers all over......But maybe anybody knows more?
Schindellegi, Sun 24-05-09
In this village follow the road to Gotthard. Half a km south of the village the so called
"Industriedorf" can be seen, simply follow the signs to Fuchs. Cross the railroad,
and right of the main house the large hangar and platform can be seen.
Unfortunately everyhting was locked up here too,but........

this white Ecureuil had a large squirrel badge (Ecureuil) on the nose. Maybe anyone ?
Erstfeld, Sun 24-05-09
Just north of the village tak exit Erstfeld, the heliport is situated only 100 meters from here......
Large windows in both hangars (Heli Gotthardt & REGA) made logging quite easy.

Schattenhalb, Mon 25-05-09
Again a small heliport within a beautifull landscape. It's situated a few km's south
of Meiringen. Continue on the main road to the Grimsel-paß, and take exit Geissholz.
After one km BOHAG is signposted.

Pfaffnau, Sat 30-05-09
Coming from the highway the heliport is at the small industrial site right of the road, just before entering the village. Unfortunately no helcipoters around (Heli Gotthard).
