if i understand it correct, you can buy tickets online, but you can also buy tickets at the gate?

Correct you can buy tickets online, those are €20.- and on the day itself at the gate it wil be € 25.-.

Will entrance be at the same gates as on other spottersdays ?

I paid by creditcard and received my ticket as attachment to the confirmation email. I checked with the ticket agency and they confirmed that no additional 'hardcopy' ticket will be sent to me. I should print and use the one sent by email.
