Normally this is it, but can be different:

A-check: every month or 500 hours of flying, in between flights, can be at the gate.
B-check: every 3 months, in between flights, can be at the gate.
C-check: every 12 to 18 months, in a hangar.
D-check: heavy maintenance check, every 4 to 5 years in a hangar.

Wat wordt er gecontroleerd tijdens de verschillende checks?

Bij alle checks word in principe alles gecontroleerd/ nagelopen of bekeken; bij n A/B check (duur:1-3 dagen) is het een korte check up van de belangrijkste onderdelen. Bij een C-check (duur: 1-2 weken) ga je grondiger alles bijlangs en bij een D-check ( duur: 4-5 weken) ga je in principe alles grondig bijlangs, alles word dan losgehaald, bekeken en weer terug geplaatst.
