Hi,

just returned from Sardinia for the 50 years celebration of AWTI in Decimomannu.
I am currently preparing my log, to share it with you, but I have still
unfortunately a few open questions ...

1. Decimomannu 25.09 around 19:00-19:30
A 2-engine cargo plane landed. Either a C-27 or a G.222. I suppose the second
one, because a lot of smoke was coming out of the engines

Anyone knows the serial?

2. Cagliari 25.09 around 17:30-18:00
A Atlantique of the Italian Air Force and a Merlin of the Italian Navy
departured. Same here, anyone knows the serials?

3. Cagliari 26.09 around 18:30-19:00
A Atlantique of the Italian Air Force departured. Anyone knows the serials?

By the way, are Atlantiques still permanently based in Cagliari?

Thank´s a lot in advance and as soon as I am ready, I will post the log of my
Sardinia trip.

I am so glad, that I was wrong

By the way, may I ask from where you saw the two Carabinieri helis? I walked from the aero club towards the Carabinieri gate, but after a few meters, they send me away, saying that the road is on military ground ...

For Helis seen Around Cagliari, during AWTI 50.
