Scramble 368 is out now!

Post by Melchior Timmers »

Hi,

The January 2010 issue of Scramble has been released!

In this month's edition, we have special features about:

- POKEY
Those who spotted at USAFE airbases in the late 1980's probably were bored after seeing them time after time, but they are being missed in the area nowadays. We have a special about the 10th MAS from Zweibrucken which operated the C-23 Sherpa.

- MAKS 2009
Although not as impressive as it used to be, it still presents some rare Russian Air Force aircraft and helicopters which you will only find in the motherland. Our editors visited the 2009 edition of the MASK and made a full report.

- Czech Air Force overview
This rather young armed force has become quite a modern organisation compared to its neighbor countries. We have an overview of all current active aircraft and helicopters.

- NAS Whiting Field
When looking at statistics, this US Navy base has an impressive daily flight activity. When visiting the base it comes clear that the statistics do not lie. Welcome to the busiest Naval Air Station in the world.

- Greece open days
Again the Greek Air Force opened its doors in November. We have a 4 day report from the only country in Europe still operating the T-2 Buckey.

Our monthly returning topics:
-Movements and trips Netherlands, Belgium + Rest of the World, civil and military;
-The latest news, civil and military;
-Updates on the world's aircraft fleets, civil and military;
-Aircraft mishaps in Dustpan and Brush;
-Wrecks & Relics (a special this month);
-Warbirds;
-Scramble Intelligence Service;

Do not forget to download the Military Updates PDF at http://www.scramble.nl/members/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

WHY NOT SUBSCRIBE!
And be the first to know what is going on in the military and civil aviation
world and the airfield near you. Besides the monthly magazine, which
averages about 150 pages (based on 2009 average), you will have a deeper access to our on-line databases (which are regarded the most informative in the world), airfield guides and lots more on our website. You also get a discount on all our shop items. The magazine is in English, check out http://www.scramble.nl/mag.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for all the details and this issue could be on your doorstep very soon.

Groeten/Greetings,
Melchior Timmers
