Hi all,
Went to the terminals today for some spotting. Started in T2, this terminal has a viewing mall. It's simple to find just follow the signs. This gives you a limited view on rw 20L/02R, the windows a some kind of sunprotected which made it difficult to read the small serials (SQ Airbuss) but the big serials (SQ Boeings) are good for a read off. Taking pictures is useless!
I've seen a lot of nice aircrafts on this spot. Lots of PK, heaps of Air Asia/Tiger/Silk Air/Firefly/Jetstar. But the Singapore Airlines aircrafts are limited here. But some 777s are passing by. Most 9V-SR- serie 777s.
After lunch I checked T3 out. This viewing mall is under construction but 2 small parts are open for public. But you are only able to see a max of 6/7 SQ planes at the time. Didn't see any aircraft on the runway during 15 minutes.
After that I went to T1, this observation deck is under construction and will be open later this year accoring the Airport Information Desk.
But if you are " airside " the view on the tarmac/runways will be a lot better.
Hopefully this will help you.
