Catania - requests and report
Noted on 15th March, on the Navy side just to the west of the AB412 and Merlin hangars, were two lines of apparently wfu SH-3s (7 of?) and some ABs. Does anybody know what these are??
My usual contact was there a year ago, and this is new since. The stored stuff was then inside two small green sheds.
Confirmed around the airfield were Fire Service ABs VF-37 (preserved) and VF-68, with stored/preserved SH-3 5009N on the Navy side.
Also noted were 3 wfu Coast Guard P.166s. When noted in early 2009 these were 8-08, 8-09 and 8-10. Again, can somebody confirm?
