Hi,

According to AFNews, the first 6 F-16s will leave Spang the 27th.

This is part of unit reduction.

Eight aircraft departed this morning. Two of them, acting as air spares have eventually returned to Spang by the time I write this.
It was a sad day to see them go. This time not returning from a mission in the skyes over European airspace.

Yes. What you need them for

In order of departure:

91-0336 rd, 91-0341 rd, 91-0388 rd, 91-0349 rd, 91-0339 rd, 91-0405 bl, 92-3915 bl, 96-0081 bl.

405 and 339 where acting as air spares and did not call Retro. Don't know wich ones returned back to base, sorry.

Some others wich where at the fence should know.

Oscar, hope this helps.

Never say never. I don't mean with Tailcode "SP", but maybe with "MN"....... You'll never know!! "Hope" is one of the main items of our hobby!!

You are right Tigerspoon,

Just look at the Ohio serials from the aircraft that passed Spangdahlem on their way to Hungary...
No-one expected these birds (even ex-SP) in Germany.

Anyway, too bad Spangdahlem is losing so many Vipers.
