The People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) and People's Liberation Army Naval Air Force of China retired their last J-6 (MiG-19 Farmer) fighters on June 12, according to the China Defense Blog.
Both forces had approximately 150 JJ-6 fighters in service, an updated version of the J-6. It is not clear if all versions have been retired – the JZ-6 is a reconnaissance version operated by the PLAAF.

Goodbye my dear J-6s
For those who still don't believe that the PLAAF/PLAN-AF has retired its entire J-6 fleet, here is the CCTV report to prove it. I bet the PLAAF ground crew are partying like it's 1949 right now without having to support those rust buckets.
