Req: How to see a C-160G Gabriel in Metz-Frescaty?

Post by USAFE »

Hi Forum,

I have never seen a C-160G Gabriel live. So I´ve been to Metz a couple times.
I found some nice spots, but unfortunately I saw no C-160G. :(

Who knows the best arrival / departure times for this rare bird?

Are they flying "local" missions or are they used worldwide?

Looking forward to read your suggestions. :)

Cheers

While driving along the Rue de l'Aerogare (east side) in 2008 I saw one of these rare birds depart, late in the afternoon.

Too bad this nearby, ancient base is going to close. Maybe better luck at Evreux?
Rome has Bufalotta, Arizona has alotta BUFF..
