At the 14th of september 5 users of this Helispot forum made a trip to Germany. The following helicopters were seen during our trip.
Flughafen Dortmund
D-HJJJ BK.117B-2 DRF
D-HNWL BK.117A-3 Polizei NRW
We had arranged a visit with the local Christoph helicopter. When we arrived it just got an emergency call so it wasn't possible to visit.

At this company we also had a visit. This heliport is build at a large farm and houses several special helicopters.
Flughafen Essen-Mulheim Outside:
D-HVIP EC.120B VHM
D-HVHM Enstrom F.28F VHM Hangar:
D-HALU R.44 Raven
N407CL Bell 407
We had a visit with the company VHM to photograph these helicopters.
We had a tour today in Ahlen and can add following:
The white cabin AB.212 nect to AB.412 554 had c/n 113 and was the former Sudan one with bulled holes, so makes it ex 420.
(AF306) Bell412 was read as c/n 33083
The camo AB.206 AF309 will be used for spares to rebuild the white one next to it (c/n 3678) is this AF302???
I thought AF302 AB206 was sold in june 2010 and left via Schiphol? So what serial has c/n 3678?
AB.412 554 UAE Police is sold to the UK and will move soon.
Other civil:
D-HMIT AB206B2 c/n 8255
D-HAFP AB206B c/n 8256 (ex OM-DDS or PPS?)
D-HAFA B206B2 c/n 124
D-HAFX B206B c/n 3419
The stored fuselages in the back of the hangar are:
on the ground from left to right:
1st green Austrian AF AB.212 5D-HD
2nd. crashed white AB.412 D-HAFV = c/n 25509 ex Uganda AF401
3rd. green fuselage ex AF404 Uganda (nose sold as simulator to UK)
4th. white fuselage crashed (in water) old D-HOOK, c/n could not be read anymore on plate but must be c/n 30206 former Libyan AF Bell.205 LC-4515 (there is a new D-HOOK active!)
On the upper floor were 2 German UH-1D fuselages
On the ground were 3 complete UH-1D's, first one c/n 8466 and HEER titles read on tail, so ex 73+46, 2nd had a former LKo bleu badge on tail, so former Air Force UH-1D and that makes only 71+71 as candidate (other AF is cabin only 70+66).
Third one stays unidentified.
So c/n 3678 belongs to AF302, so this one did not leave Ahlen? another one maybe?
AF309 should have c/n 8648
Checked the picture taken from the c/n plate, (the mechanic could not read any number) clearly visible on picture is c/n 30206, so the white one stored on the right is confirmed ex Libyan LC-4515.
sorry, the Austrian AB.212 should be 5D-HE (iso 5D-HD that is still flying!)
All Bell.47's (Sioux) that are in EMOOS are gone from here for some years now.
Hi,
yes you have to make an appointment on beforehand.
They have frequently spotters for a tour, and they "ask" on beforehand: "don't forget the beer for the tourguide"!
The best result/score is between nov/april when all heli's are back from firefights in Spain/Portugal.
