Early KLM operational plans for 2011 show the possible re-introduction of a 7th transfer bank at AMS to better spread the loads over SPL & the network. This may result in the re-introduction of a 6th frequency on some dense routes.
Other changes foreseen for Summer 2011 are:
= Amsterdam – Kilimanjaro – Dar es Salaam – Amsterdam - B777-300ER to operate twice a week from Jun 2011
= Amsterdam – Lima - combined B777-200ER/-300ER operation with 77W Day 357 and 777 Day x357
= Amsterdam – New York JFK - B777-300ER to operate on KL641/642 twice a week from late-Jun 2011
= Amsterdam – San Francisco - B747-400 to replace B777/B77W from late-Jun 2011
= Amsterdam - Tokyo - will operate at the new 10x/week frequency with B747-400 & B747-400M
Nope (actual chance to see them here remain slim as CDG/FRA/SVO remain active and one of these routes needs to be cut / reroute to make space for AMS & Vietnam Airlines also haven't given any indication that they are seriously interested for AMS as CDG/SVO are already Skyteam-fields).
According to an interview earlier this year with the public relations manager of Yemenia, the airline is planning to start with services to Amsterdam in spring 2011. No further details available at the moment.
Grtz,

According to my reliable sources..... the choice will be between AMS and PRG. In the latter destination there is a big Vietnamese comunity , however AMS provides the hub function..
There is an aircraft avbl and it will not be at the expense of current served EUR destinations.
Don't know if this is the right topic to place but KLM is considering to resume the flights to Buenos Aires with its own metal in 2011.
No dates known but plans are being made, here the article (only in dutch):
